Llwynifan farm caravan site  is a touring caravan and camping park that welcomes visitors of all abilities.

We are open from March the 1st through to the 30th of October. We recommend you  book especially over bank holiday weekends, and summer holidays.

 Llwynifan farm is 2.2 miles from the M4 Junction 48.  Carry on to the A1438 (Signposted Llanelli) In 1 and a ½ miles at the first roundabout turn right (Signposted Allt) then after 425 yards turn left between two bungalows. Into our unclassified fully tarmacadamed  farm road. This may look steep, but no one has failed yet.  Once you have reached the top you will see in front of you our information point.

We do not have currently an official reception area, however if you come to the Main farm house, and ring the door bell someone will come and greet you.  The farm yard is clean, and covered in concrete and tarmac.

The information point is located in a hexagonal glass house, there is a gentle slope up to this with a small step in (step is 5cm high.) the display inside is then on shelves. Some are quite high up, however if you need any assistance in getting to these please do not hesitate to ask for assistance. 

We have a “Useful information” file located in the information point, this has details of doctors, hospitals, vets and other services in the area.

The nearest shops are in Llangennech, Co-op, Chinese, Indian, Garage these are a short walk approximately 1mile from the site and along a well lit public footpath, apart from the drive up to the farm.

All the roads and paths around the site at Llwynifan farm are made from tarmac or  compacted and well maintained hardcore. We take our visitors safety seriously and have a 10 mph speed limit in operation around the site.  All pitches are directly accessible off a hardcore track.

The site does not currently have lighting, except for the areas just out side the Toilet / shower block, these lights come on via sensor. The site is level or gently sloping and access to pitches is easy and there is plenty of space between them. We request that all Vehicles are parked on the grassed area opposite the caravans. The hard standing pitches are large, with space for a caravan and awning. The surface is compacted hardcore.

Our electric hook up points are located near by and shared between 2 or 3 pitches. Picnic tables with built in benches are distributed across the park and they can be moved to individual pitches for the convenience of our visitors, if you wish assistance to move one of these picnic tables please do not hesitate to ask one of us.
There is one centrally located amenity block located near the entrance of the site with a parking area just in front near the information point. There is a gradual slope into the toilet block, with a small step in (5cm high) We have one ladies and one gents toilets, along with a wash basin.

We have two family shower rooms. There are two steps the first is 4cm high and 33cm in width to the next step which is 4cm high, (the second step is the door frame into the shower rooms) The door opening is 68cm wide. Both rooms have a hand wash basins, (94cm high) along with a movable seat.  There is also a large table area. The shower section is 90cm wide 142cm in length and has a small step in approximately 3.5cm high and 5cm wide.

The main lighting throughout the block is regulated by a series of proximity sensors, they stay on for 15min, there are also low energy lights that stay on throughout the night.

The dish washing room is apart of the same block. There is one dedicated dish washing sink with draining boards, (36cm high) There is  a step into the room approximately 5cm high.

The chemical disposal point, is located just out side the amenity block and accessed at ground level. The disposal point is built into the floor in the same area, it is not necessary therefore to lift your grey water container to empty it! There is a tap and hose for washing containers and the flush for the unit is regulated by a wall mounted handle.

The 1 communal water point (83cm high)  this is located just out side the shower room. The electric hook-up points are all clearly marked and adjacent to the relevant pitches. We can exchange and sell Calor gas cylinders and we can loan our visitors a simple trolley to transport  cylinders to and from their pitch.

There is  bus service from nearby approximately 0.2miles from the farm entrance. The rail mainline (Heart of Wales) station is Llangennech and is about one mile from the site. Telephone numbers for local taxi firms and up to date time tables are available and displayed in the useful information file in the information point.

Mobile telephone reception at Llwynifan Farm is excellent. Digital signal for  television is excellent. Unrestricted satellite TV signal can be gained at each pitch.
